Job Description

We are looking for General Labourers for a 1 year renovation project. Pay is dependent upon skills and experience.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

Loading and unloading construction materials and moving them to work areas. Preparing construction sites by cleaning obstacles and hazards. Operating and maintaining of construction equipment and tools. Putting together and taking apart temporary structures such as scaffolding, wayfinding, etc. Helping equipment operators, carpenters, and other trades when necessary. Following instructions and coordinating the work with Site Supervisor / Project Manager and/or project team. Performing site clean-up. Maintaining workplace safety standards in accordance with the provincial occupational health and safety policy.

A LITTLE BIT ABOUT YOU:

Basic knowledge of hand and power tools. Must be able to lift 50lbs minimum. Drywall/taping repair is an asset. Shipping/receiving experience is an asset. Residential/Light Commercial construction experience is preferred. Punctual and reliable.
Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
