Tackpoint LP. is an established company that engineers and produces customized bearings and other machined solutions for industrial applications. We are looking for a hardworking and reliable General Labourer to join our team and help keep our shop running smoothly.

This position is for the day shift, but applicants must be willing to work the night shift when required.

We are looking to hire someone who is ready, willing and able to do clean up type tasks. These tasks are things like sweeping, cleaning machines, emptying chip bins and garbage bins, mopping up spills, organizing the yard and helping where needed.

Responsibilities:

Sweeping and maintaining cleanliness of the shop floor

Cleaning machines and work areas

Empty bins and disposing of waste properly

Assisting with basic machine maintenance

Oiling and lubricating parts as required

Helping machinists and other team members as needed

Handling general shop duties and supporting operations

Qualifications:

Good attitude, trainability/aptitude, and communication skills

Ability to follow instructions and work independently

Hardworking and dependable with a strong work ethic

Comfortable working in a machine shop environment

Attention to detail is a must

Previous experience in a shop or industrial setting is an asset but not required
