Valard is seeking General Laborer local to Manitoba.

Requirements:

• Assists skilled trades people and technicians as directed
• Properly vents and enters manholes
• Maintains, calibrates, and troubleshoots the testing and toning equipment during field applications
• Maintains housekeeping in the splicer work trucks, in the manhole and around the work site
• Mixes and places grout, installs rebar, sets concrete forms, finishes cement using trowel and vibrator
• Performs digging and trenching, demolition and waste site removal, loading/unloading trucks, and cleans work area
• Loading/unloading construction materials both mechanically and by hand
• Working around heavy equipment and assisting operators
• Working with hand power tools
• Taking direction from crew lead on various tasks
• Perform all other duties as assigned by supervisor

Qualifications:

• Ability to work in a team
• Ability to work outdoors under a variety of extreme climatic conditions
• Potential to working longer shifts may be required
• Physically fit with the ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
• Must have a valid Drivers\'s license minimum of a class 3
• Must provide valid Driver\'s abstract
• Must be local to Headingly area *accommodations and LOA are not provided*
