Hiring Unit:
Student Housing & Hospitality Services
Under the direction of the Supervisor, Dining Hall or Chef, performs tasks required to maintain the cleanliness of cooking utensils and equipment and the kitchen area.
Qualifications RequiredHigh School Leaving Diploma.
Three (3) months related experience.
Good communication skills.
Ability to communicate, read and write English and French.
Knowledge of French and English. McGill University is an English-language university where day to day duties may require English communication both verbally and in writing.
Additional Information
Temporary part-time position for the period August 17, 2025 to April 30, 2026. Work hours and location are variable.
Hourly salary:
$23.69/hour
Hours of work:
up to 38.75 per week (day, evening, night). Must be available for weekend schedules from Sunday to Saturday, according to needs.
Location:
Bishop Mountain Hall/Royal Victoria College/Douglas Hall, as per need.
