Overview

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Laborer to join our team. This role involves supporting various outdoor and indoor projects related to orchard work. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, physical stamina, and a willingness to learn new skills in horticulture and equipment operation. This position offers an opportunity to develop hands-on experience working with farm machinery, power tools, and maintenance tasks in a dynamic environment.

Duties

Assist with installation, repair, and maintenance of irrigation systems and horticultural projects Operate heavy equipment and farm machinery safely and efficiently Use hand tools and power tools for various construction and landscaping tasks Perform heavy lifting of materials, equipment, and supplies as needed Conduct routine maintenance on tools, machinery, and equipment to ensure proper functioning Support the planting, pruning, watering, and general care of plants and landscaping features Follow safety protocols during all operations to prevent accidents or injuries Assist with site cleanup and organization after project completion Perform basic math calculations for measurements, quantities, and material estimates

Requirements

Prior experience or knowledge in horticulture, irrigation systems, or farm machinery is preferred but not required; training will be provided Mechanical knowledge and familiarity with maintenance tasks are advantageous Ability to operate heavy equipment and power tools safely Physical strength to perform heavy lifting and manual labor throughout the workday Basic math skills for measurements and calculations Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Strong work ethic with attention to safety procedures Ability to follow instructions accurately and work effectively as part of a team

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 60 per week
