About Us

Nalwa Renovations Limited is an expanding construction and development company with multiple active renovation and multi-unit conversion projects in Prince Rupert and more launching in 2026. We're building a reliable, long-term local team and are looking for a part-time Renovation Assistant / Skilled Labourer to support our Site Supervisor with day-to-day tasks.

Position Overview

We're hiring someone part-time (15-25 hrs/week) who has at least 1 year of experience in general construction, renovations, or skilled labour.

You don't need to be specialized -- just experienced enough to confidently handle basic tasks, work independently, and support trades onsite.

Responsibilities

Assist with general renovation work (drywall, framing, flooring, painting, etc.)

Support trades (electrician, plumber, carpenter) as needed

Perform material pickups and deliveries

Job site cleanup and organization

Basic carpentry or handyman tasks

Help document job progress (photos, notes)

Light admin tasks: receipts, logs, simple paperwork (training provided)

Follow safety and site instructions from the Site Supervisor

Requirements

Minimum 1 year of general construction or renovation experience

Able to use basic hand & power tools

Valid driver's license + reliable vehicle

Able to work independently and follow directions

Physically able to lift 50 lbs

Reliable, punctual, and safety-minded

Eligible to work in Canada

Assets (not required)

Demolition and Insulation/ Vapour Barrier installation experience

Drywall, painting, or finishing experience

Flooring and tile installation experience

Prior work with plumbers/electricians

First Aid Certification Preferred

Experience with multi-unit or full-suite renovations

Compensation

$20-$30/hr, depending on experience

Weekly pay

Possibility of more hours as project pipeline increases
