General Construction Labourer
Job Description
Harbour Hills is a construction management firm located in Hamilton, Ontario that specializes in both residential and commercial construction in the Greater Hamilton Area.
We are immediately seeking a full time construction technician. The ideal candidate will have experience providing support to skilled trades on both residential and commercial job sites.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Operate and maintain heavy machinery and construction equipment (e.g., skid steers, excavators, loaders, etc.)
Handle and transport materials, tools, and equipment safely
Assist skilled tradespeople as required on both residential and commercial projects
Clean and prepare worksites for various phases of construction
Follow site safety protocols and supervisor instructions at all times
Set up and remove site signage, fencing, and cones to maintain a safe work environment
Identify and report unsafe conditions or equipment malfunctions
Requirements:
Full G License
and reliable transportationExperience operating heavy machinery
(certifications or proof of competency preferred)Clean criminal record
Ability to follow detailed instructions and adhere to safety standards Familiarity with power tools and general construction practices Strong communication and teamwork skills Must supply own standard hand tools Apprenticeship or trade specialization considered an asset, but not requiredYou will be working in a fantastic fast paced team environment and reporting to our Site Superintendent.
