Triple H Contracting Inc. Coldwater, ON is seeking skilled and experienced Carpenters to join our team. Duties vary with each job but would typically include various rough framing duties, reading blueprints, exterior finishes and some roofing.

Duties and Responsibilities

Following technical drawings and plans to ensure accurate construction. Measuring and cutting: Accurately measuring and shaping wood, plastic, and other materials. Construction and installation: Building and installing structural frameworks, such as walls, floors, and roof trusses. This also includes installing fixtures like doors, windows, and moulding. Repair and maintenance: Performing repairs on existing structures and fixtures, and assisting with demolition. Tool and equipment use: Mastering a variety of hand and power tools, as well as safety equipment like levels and framing squares. Measures and marks surface to layout work, according to blueprints and drawings, and according to building code Determine and estimate project materials and requirements Construct building structures and frameworks, including walls, floors, windows, doors, stairs etc. Measure, cut, shape, and join wood materials Frame floor systems, wall and roof trusses Back framing Maintaining a clean and organised work site.
Experience and Requirements.

4+ years experience working in commercial or residential framing or rough carpentry High school Diploma or equivalent is required Manual dexterity: The ability to work with tools and materials with skill and precision. Attention to detail: A keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy in measurements and cuts. Problem-solving: The capacity to identify and solve problems that arise on the job. Physical strength: The ability to lift and handle heavy materials. Teamwork: The ability to work effectively with other tradespeople on a construction site. Valid Driver's License & clean record. Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks consistently throughout the workday. Strong understanding of safety standards related to construction sites. Pay: $23.00-$35.00 per hour
