Job Description

We are currently seeking a full time General Carpenter to start immediately.

Job Responsibilities and Duties include:

Ability to read scope of work to determine method of installation, work procedures, materials and tool requirements.

Working knowledge of rough and finish carpentry.

Demonstrates the safe operation of all other tools required for onsite construction.

Follows all health and safety policies and procedures and adheres to company standards at customer sites.

Maintains good housekeeping discipline on the job to ensure a safe, non-cluttered workplace to minimize cross contamination.

Ensures quality control targets and timelines are met or exceeded.

Maintains professional and service focused approach with property owner, occupants of the property, co-workers, and sub-contractors.

Working knowledge of dry-walling, taping, texturing and painting an asset.

Qualifications Required:

Knowledge of materials, methods and the tools involved in the construction or repair of houses.

Ability to solve basic arithmetic problems quickly and accurately.

Valid driver's license with clean driving record.

Minimum 2 years' experience and proven track record in home building or related industry.
