We are looking for a skilled General Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate is versatile in residential carpentry, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering exceptional results.
Responsibilities
Perform a range of carpentry tasks including framing, trim, cabinetry, forming, and finishing. Interpret blueprints and drawings to execute accurate work. Collaborate with Superintendents, Project Managers, Project Coordinators and subcontractors. Ensure work meets Alair's quality standards and complies with codes and safety requirements. Maintain tools, equipment, and an organized job site. Communicate proactively about site needs or issues.
Requirements
5+ years of carpentry/construction experience in residential building. Proficiency with hand tools and power tools. Strong knowledge of construction methods and finishing techniques. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Basic hand tools (specialty equipment provided).
Benefits
