Job Description
Our client is a top Canadian development, design, construction, and management firm. We are looking for someone with solid experience in the real estate industry. The Financial Analyst will support the owner with analysis related to Accounts Receivables and identify other areas for improvement.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly accounts receivable and performance analysis on our entire real estate portfolio to identify issues and provide recommendations
- Identify areas for improvement that result in revenue generation and cost reduction
- Identify any shortfalls and opportunities
- Review drawings, schedules, and market information for input and assistance with the preparation of budgets, cashflow analysis, and development proformas
- Assist with financing including preparation of monthly draws, coordinating underwriting and compliance materials
- Prepare special reports and financial analysis as required
- MUST HAVE experience in the real estate industry
- Understanding of real estate market fundamentals and regulations
- CPA designation is a plus, will consider those with Business Degrees
- Proven skills in analysis
- Professional individual to work with senior leadership
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Work independently and within a team setting
- Roll up your sleeves, hands-on, attitude with the ability to multi-task
- Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
