Gastroenterologist

Full Time and Locum Opportunities Available
Our client is seeking a third full-time permanent Gastroenterologist. Located at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, in Charlottetown and the Prince County Hospital, in Summerside.
HOURS OF WORK:
Full-time hours for a salaried physician is defined as 37.5 hours per week; and
Full-time contract-for-service hours is based on a maximum of 1,725 hours per year.
REMUNERATION: Physicians have the option of choosing salary or fee-for-service payment modality.
INCENTIVES:
Qualified and licensable candidates may be eligible for a return-in-service grant of $100,000 with a 3-year (5,850 hour) commitment to Health PEI.
Eligible moving expense reimbursements up to $10,000 are available.
Opportunity to teach Medical Learners and Residents with faculty appointment at affiliated universities.
PEI has hospital-based province-wide electronic health records giving access to lab reports, radiology reports and images, and physician notes.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada eligibility or certification preferred.
Must be eligible for licensure with the provincial College of Physicians and Surgeons.
