We are seeking a skilled Gasfitter B/Plumber Journeyman with experience in air conditioning installation and repair to join our team. What you will bring to the team:

• Journeyman plumbing and/or gasfitter/sheet metal certification. We will consider some with significant experience who can work independently.

What will you do?

• Represent Comfort Union in a professional, courteous and customer service-oriented manner on each and every call; you are a proud ambassador for our company.
• Explain, educate and promote the value of Comfort Union\xe2\x80\x99s products, services and programs on every call.
• Assemble, repair and install plumbing and air conditioning systems
• Perform gas fitting service and installation
• Install and repair furnaces and air conditioning units
• Install water softeners
• Conduct drain cleaning and general plumbing services
• Be able to troubleshoot and resolve heating issues (boilers, furnaces, hot water tanks, etc.)
• Adhere to safety policies and procedures
• Dispatch to jobs, write estimates, sell jobs, write invoices and collect payments. (task completed on company Ipad)
• Diagnose plumbing issues, explain diagnosis and solution to customer
• Perform plumbing repairs in efficient and professional manner
• Create positive customer relations through effective communication and problem solving.
• Educate customers, providing options and making recommendations.
• Other duties, as assigned by management.
• Contribute to business growth by lead generation
• Calculate material and labor, establish pricing catalogs, respond to customers, and bring new sales
• Deal with suppliers and purchase necessary materials
• Wear a business hat and drive the bottom line of the company

Apprentice training

• Level four & five apprenticeship training
• Must display skillsets of a soon to be journeyman and team player.
