Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Gas Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing gas systems, air conditioners, heat pumps, water heaters, commercial rooftops ensuring safety and compliance with industry standards. This role requires a strong mechanical background, technical expertise, and the ability to troubleshoot complex systems. The Gas Technician will work in various settings, including residential, commercial, and industrial environments, providing essential services to ensure safe and efficient gas operations. 313D and minimum 5 years of field experience is MANDATORY. Responsibilities

Install, inspect, and repair gas lines, appliances, and related equipment in accordance with safety regulations and schematics Perform routine maintenance on gas systems to prevent malfunctions and ensure optimal performance Troubleshoot issues related to plumbing, boilers, HVAC systems, and appliances connected to gas supply Conduct safety checks and inspections to identify potential hazards or leaks Weld or modify piping as needed using appropriate techniques and tools Read and interpret technical schematics, blueprints, and mechanical drawings for accurate system installation and repairs Maintain detailed records of work performed, parts used, and safety inspections conducted Collaborate with other technicians or contractors on construction or maintenance projects

Experience

Proven experience in plumbing, welding, boiler operation, or HVAC systems is highly desirable Mechanical knowledge with a focus on gas systems or appliance repair is essential Experience working with schematics and technical drawings for system installation or troubleshooting Prior construction or maintenance experience will be considered an asset Mechanic experience related to appliances or mechanical systems is beneficial Familiarity with safety standards and regulations governing gas systems is required

Pay: $35.00-$45.00 per hour
