Newport Landscaping:

We are searching for 1-2 hard-working team players, detailed Garden Maintenance Crew Members who's willing to take on new challenges and join our growing team.

Newport Landscaping, established in 2006, is a design/build firm with a landscape maintenance division, based out of Vineland, ON. Our organization's continued success and accelerated growth is due in large part to the investments we've made in our employees, in our equipment, and the long-term relationships we've developed with our clients.

EXPERIENCE/TASKS:

Advanced horticulture knowledge Attend to sites across the Region in a company vehicle, service sites Weeding, cultivating, edging and mulching garden beds Pruning and trimming shrubs and trees Maintain standards of cleanliness and organization or jobsites, trucks, equipment, and shop/office area Loading and unloading of trucks and trailers in the AM and PM of all required tools and equipment to reach daily goals Coordinating with other crews and management to complete tasks Reporting of daily duties and ensuring tasks are completed thoroughly Work independently Team player Spring and Fall clean ups Switching over to snow removal in winter months

Requirements:

Steel toe boots (not provided by employer).

Qualifications

Strong knowledge of horticulture and landscape maintenance techniques Proficiency in gardening practices and plant care Experience using hand tools and power tools for garden maintenance Familiarity with irrigation systems and their installation Ability to work effectively in a team and follow instructions Attention to detail and a passion for outdoor work

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.20-$22.00 per hour
