Garden Centre Plant Care Specialist

Saskatoon Landscape and Garden Centre is a family-owned and operated landscape supply company and Garden Centre, located at #7 Glazier Road (corner of HWY 16 and Boychuck drive, next to Greenbryer) in Saskatoon. We are seeking motivated and knowledgeable individuals who have a green thumb and love to tend to plant needs and offer suggestions to customers for their garden!

Positions Available:

5 Full time (32-40 hrs/week) and 8 Part time (16-24 hrs/week) positions.

These are seasonal positions starting in March and April with ending times varying from June to September.

This role includes but is not limited to:

Water, prune and maintain plants as needed

Restocking plant material where needed

Maintain a clean and organized display throughout the Garden Centre

Assist customers with plant selections and advice

Notify management of any plant health issues if they arise

Preference is given to those that possess:

Prior experience or plant knowledge

Passion for plants and a strong understanding of different plant varieties

High attention to detail

Customer service experience

Positive attitude and reliable

Willingness to learn

Quick learner & problem solving ability

Availability throughout the spring and summer months including stat holidays, evenings and weekends.

Willing to be cross-trained on the tills when needed

Ability to work outdoors
