About the Job

We're looking for a skilled Lead Service Technician who knows their way around all types of overhead doors and openers. This is a hands-on role where you'll be the go-to for diagnosing problems, carrying out quality repairs, and making sure the customer is taken care of.

You'll be leading service calls, troubleshooting on-site, and mentoring support techs so the work gets done right and safely. We want someone who can think on their feet, keep calm under pressure, and deliver the kind of service that keeps customers calling us back.

While we'd like you to be capable of doing installs if needed, your main focus will be service, maintenance, and repair.

What You'll Do

Lead service calls for residential, commercial, agricultural, and industrial overhead doors. Diagnose issues and carry out repairs that meet Nova's standards. Perform maintenance and preventative service to extend the life of doors and openers. Train and guide junior techs on the job. Keep job sites safe, clean, and organized. Complete service reports and notes using Housecall Pro.

What You Need

3+ years in the overhead door industry, focused on service work. Strong mechanical skills and the ability to troubleshoot quickly. Comfortable working at heights and handling the physical side of the job. Attention to detail--you do it right the first time. Valid driver's license and clean abstract.
