We are seeking a skilled Garage Door Technician to join our team. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing various types of garage doors and their components. Duties

Install and repair garage door systems, including springs, openers, and tracks. Perform routine maintenance checks and troubleshoot issues with garage doors. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete installations and repairs. Read blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation. Apply caulking and other sealing materials as necessary for weatherproofing. Restore or replace damaged parts of garage doors as needed. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects. Maintain a clean and organized work environment at all job sites.

Qualifications

Proven experience in carpentry, construction, or a related field is preferred. Ability to read blueprints and technical specifications accurately. Proficiency with hand tools and power tools commonly used in garage door installation and repair. Skills in welding, drywall work, construction painting, and plumbing are highly desirable. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and team members. Must be able to lift heavy objects as required during installations.
