Job Description
We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated Garage Door Technician to join our teamimmediately. This full-time position involves the installation, service, and repair of both residential and commercial garage doors and operators.
Key Responsibilities:
Install garage doors and operators in residential and commercial settings Perform routine maintenance and repairs on garage door systems Ensure high standards of customer service and professionalism on all job sites Maintain a clean and safe work environment Accurately complete required documentation and service reports
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (preferred) Valid G-class driver's licence with a clean driving record Previous experience is an asset, but we are willing to train the right candidate Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to lift heavy materials Proficient with hand and power tools Comfortable working at heights, including on ladders and scissor lifts
Position Details:
Full-time, Monday to Friday Wage: $20.00-$25.00 per hour, depending on experience 35-45 hours per week Reliable transportation to and from the shop is required; company vehicle provided for job sites Comprehensive benefits package available after 3 months Annual performance bonus available when company targets are met
Assets (not required but considered an advantage):
Working at Heights certification WHMIS certification
