Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Garage Door Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining garage doors and openers, ensuring safety and functionality for our clients. This role requires a strong understanding of construction and mechanical systems, with the ability to interpret schematics and blueprints.

Duties

Install, repair, and maintain residential and commercial garage doors and openers using hand tools and power tools Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to accurately execute projects Perform construction-related tasks including framing Conduct restoration work on existing garage doors to improve appearance and functionality Ensure all work complies with safety standards and building codes

Qualifications

Experience with hand tools, schematics reading, blueprint interpretation, and construction processes Ability to work part of a team in a fast-paced environment Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail Physical ability to lift heavy materials and work in various positions for extended periods Prior experience in construction or related trades is preferred but not mandatory Valid driver's license is required for travel between job sites

Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour
