As a Game Developer, you\'ll assist the Digital Labs Arcade team in bringing digital mobile-gaming fan experiences to life in our apps and websites. You\'ll work with Product, Marketing, Global Partnerships, and Professional Leagues on creating fun, engaging, and meaningful micro-games for fans of sports everywhere.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the full life cycle of mobile game development - including ideation, design, coding, testing, and maintenance.
  • Develop game mechanics and system processes using a game engine, such as Gamemaker, Unity or Unreal Engine.
  • Collaborate with artists, designers, and other developers to ensure flawless integration of art and design assets into a fully functional game.
  • Optimize code and debug issues for improved game performance and efficiency on mobile platforms.
  • Test, debug, and refine game components to ensure they meet technical and player experience requirements.
  • Stay updated with the latest mobile gaming trends, techniques, best practices and technologies.
Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in mobile game development.
  • Proficient in at least one popular game engine (Unity, Unreal Engine, etc.).
  • Strong programming skills in C#, C++, Java, or Python.
  • Familiarity with graphics, physics, and sound programming.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Previous experience with AR/VR technologies, multiplayer game systems or cross-platform game development is an asset.
