: G2 Gas Technician

Go Industries is looking for a G2 Gas Technician to join our prestigious Heating and cooling client full-time. The ideal candidate will have experience in both residential and commercial spaces in the Hamilton area. This is a great opportunity for a licensed gas technician that is looking for a rewarding career.

Responsibilities:

• Study drawings and specifications to determine the layout of the installation and materials required.
• Measure and mark reference points for the installation of gas lines and equipment.
• Install and maintain gas meters and regulators and gas lines between the gas unit and gas meter.
• Install, maintain and service gas heating units and their components, such as burners, valves, and automatic controls.
• Test and replace defective equipment or components.
• Test and adjust control mechanisms and check pipes and piping connections for gas leaks using gas-detecting devices.
• Prepare reports on work performed and the condition of facilities.
• Advise clients regarding standards, safety features, and maintenance of gas units and systems.
• May repair and service gas appliances and related equipment.
• Will be required to install but not be limited to furnaces, Ac units, tankless water heaters, boilers, ductless mini splits, and heat pumps.
• Must be able to complete ductwork transitions and fabrications independently.

Qualifications:

• Gas Technician Experience with a G2 License.
• Driver\xe2\x80\x99s License with clean driver\'s abstract.
• Possess strong customer service skills.
• Ability to service clients in a 24/7 environment with on-call responsibilities.
• Proven computer literacy skills.

Pay rate:

• Up to $ 40.00 for the perfect candidate.
