Job Description
Join the St-Luc Compound team and be part of the essential flow of finished vehicles moving between the CPKC railhead and the GCI compound. Our drivers play a key role in ensuring each vehicle is handled with care, accuracy, and full adherence to safety and quality standards. Your attention to detail and commitment to safe operations will help keep our process running smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Safely transport finished vehicles from the railhead unloading zone to designated storage or processing areas within the compound Assist with vehicle repositioning tasks as needed to support daily load line and DPU operations Follow supervisor instructions and work card procedures accurately, ensuring all movements are properly recorded using your driver ID Perform visual checks on vehicles while moving them and promptly report any damage or irregularities to the inspection team Scan VIN barcodes to complete receiving, tracking, and picking tasks with accuracy Maintain constant awareness of yard traffic patterns, designated driving lanes, and all safety regulations
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Physically able to work outdoors in all weather conditions Comfortable performing repetitive tasks with strong attention to detail Willingness to work various shifts, including weekends, based on operational needs Bilingual candidates will be an asset but not a necessity
Pre-Employment Requirements
Medical and drug screening (safety-sensitive position) Background check and employment verification Driver's license and driving record verification
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.00-$18.05 per hour
Expected hours: 15 - 35 per week
Work Location: In person
