Job Description

We are a growing construction material supply company that is looking for an experienced Commercial G Classified Drivers to be a part of our team.

We're seeking an energetic, self-motivated, hard-working, organized, and reliable person to work within and lead one of our delivery teams. Eligible candidates will possess the ability to work with different personalities and is an excellent team player. All candidates must have at least 3 years of commercial driving experience. Bilingualism is an asset.

Main responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Conduct pre-shift circle checks and record findings in corresponding maintenance log book

Patrice and demonstrate safe and responsible driving habits that fall within the laws of the road, and that best reflect our companies driving policies.

Checking loads; ensuring that the material loaded matches the delivery order

Able to lift up to 60lbs

Secure loads; securely strapping material before leaving our yard and job sites

Assess each delivery site to best complete the delivery

- Assist delivering material in each delivery

Job Requirements:

Must have 3 years commercial driving experience

Must be a self-starter and take initiative

Strong communication and organizational skills

Reliable, team oriented personality

Positive work ethic and a willingness to learn

Takes direction well

Strong attention to detail

Focus on time sensitive orders

Must have steel-toed boots, hard hat, gloves and safety glasses (can be purchased onsite)

MUST BE ABLE TO WORK EARLY MORNINGS

- position starts at 6am
