G Class Delivery Driver

Position Summary:

As a G Class Delivery Driver with Flanagan Foodservice, you will deliver food products and order items to our customers to meet their business requirements. In this active position as a G Class Delivery Driver, your day will consist of driving to our customer locations to deliver products/orders, and interact with customers to provide customer service excellence and assistance with resolving issues.

Key Responsibilities:

Delivery and pick up of customer products and orders using a G class vehicle as scheduled Manually sort, move and deliver customer products as ordered, including the possible use of handcart, pump cart on ramps, stairs or other surfaces (moving approximately 300 - 600 pieces/day) Moving products up to 50lbs regularly and up to 80 lbs on occasion Complete and verify all required paperwork for customer orders, including scanning as proof of deliver, invoices and returns Safely and professionally operate company vehicles and equipment including conducting pre and post-trip inspections, completion of required logs and reports Demonstrate a willingness to ensure customer satisfaction Follow the Company's policies and procedures Ensure compliance with all Ministry of Transportation rules and regulations Follow safe and efficient work procedures to meet customer requirements including maintaining a clean and safe environment Complete and keep up to date on all Health & Safety, Food Safety and Quality Assurance training pertinent to the role Responsible for reporting any and all concerns related to the Health & Safety, Safe Handling and integrity of all items received, stored and distributed by Flanagan Foodservice Adherence to all Health & Safety, Food Safety and WHMIS practices

Required Qualifications:

Valid G license with a clean driver's abstract and CVOR Minimum of 3 years G Class driving experience Minimum 1 year experience driving a delivery straight truck Good communication skills and customer service experience required Ability to lift up to 50lbs consistently; up to 80lbs on occasion Adherence to all Health & Safety, Food Safety and WHMIS practices Flexible to work assigned schedules and complete route schedules as required Ability to work in a verity of weather, climates and road conditions

Adherence to all Health & Safety, Food Safety and WHMIS practices. Ability to lift up to 80lbs on occasion Able to work 10 - 13 hour shifts Work in all types of weather/climate/road conditions
