Job Description

Part of a global 24-hour FX IT support organization providing first-line production support for FX trade booking, order management, and risk systems. Ensures system reliability and rapid incident resolution for front-office, middle-office, and risk users. Collaborates closely with development and infrastructure teams to maintain stability and continuous improvement.



Key Responsibilities



Provide responsive first-line support for FX trade, order, and risk systems (e.g., Orchestrade, Barracuda, DealHub, IRIS). Ensure system stability through proactive monitoring, incident management, and change control. Coordinate daily handovers with global support teams to ensure seamless 24-hour coverage. Communicate promptly with trading, sales, and operations teams regarding incidents and resolutions. Take ownership of production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement preventive measures. Collaborate with project and development teams for Level 3 escalations and releases. Participate in disaster recovery and compliance exercises.
Maintain documentation, user guides, and internal knowledge sharing to reduce key-person risk.

Role Requirements



Functional Experience:



3+ years supporting FX trading systems in a front-office or risk IT environment. Strong understanding of FX products (Spot, Forwards, Swaps, NDFs, Options). Familiarity with P&L, sensitivities, and risk metrics such as VaR.
Excellent communication and multitasking skills.

Technical Experience:



Strong SQL and database troubleshooting skills. Experience with Windows and UNIX environments (shell scripting, services, scheduled tasks). Exposure to Control-M or similar batch monitoring tools.
Familiarity with monitoring systems (e.g., ITRS Geneos).

Education & Skills:



Degree in Computer Science or related field. Proactive, team-oriented, and able to perform under pressure. Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
Language: Fluent in English, French is a plus.

Fait partie d'une organisation mondiale de support informatique 24h/24 dediee aux systemes de trading FX, assurant le support de premiere ligne pour les systemes de reservation de transactions, de gestion des ordres et de gestion des risques. Garantit la fiabilite des systemes et la resolution rapide des incidents pour les utilisateurs du front-office, du middle-office et de la gestion des risques. Collabore etroitement avec les equipes de developpement et d'infrastructure afin de maintenir la stabilite et d'assurer une amelioration continue.

Responsabilites principales



Fournir un support de premiere ligne reactif pour les systemes de trading, d'ordres et de gestion des risques FX (ex. : Orchestrade, Barracuda, DealHub, IRIS). Assurer la stabilite des systemes grace a une surveillance proactive, a la gestion des incidents et au controle des changements. Coordonner les passations quotidiennes avec les equipes de support globales afin d'assurer une couverture continue 24h/24. Communiquer rapidement avec les equipes de trading, de vente et d'operations concernant les incidents et leurs resolutions. Prendre en charge les incidents de production, effectuer les analyses de cause racine et mettre en oeuvre des mesures preventives. Collaborer avec les equipes projet et developpement pour les escalades de niveau 3 et les mises en production. Participer aux exercices de continuite d'activite (DRP/BCP) et de conformite reglementaire.
Maintenir la documentation, les guides utilisateurs et le partage de connaissances internes afin de reduire les risques lies aux personnes cles.

Exigences du poste



Experience fonctionnelle :



Minimum 3 ans d'experience dans le support de systemes de trading FX en environnement front-office ou IT risques. Solide comprehension des produits FX (Spot, Forwards, Swaps, NDFs, Options). Bonne maitrise des notions de P&L, sensibilites et indicateurs de risque tels que la VaR.
Excellentes competences en communication et en gestion multitache.

Experience technique :



Solides competences en SQL et en depannage de bases de donnees. Experience des environnements Windows et UNIX (scripts shell, services, taches planifiees). Connaissance des outils de planification de batchs tels que Control-M.
Familiarite avec les systemes de supervision (ex. : ITRS Geneos).

Formation et competences :



Diplome en informatique ou domaine equivalent. Esprit proactif, sens du travail en equipe et capacite a travailler sous pression.
Forte aptitude analytique et sens developpe de la resolution de problemes.


Langue : Maitrise de l'anglais requise, le francais est un atout.
