JOB DESCRIPTION:

A Sales Associate is responsible for selling couch 9 products at the retail store . They will be trained in all aspects of the business, including product knowledge, retail selling, inventory management, and customer service. This position requires a high level of energy, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn. Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of FURNITURE SALES

Tasks

Operate cash register Provide advice about merchandise Assist in display of merchandise Conduct sales transactions through Internet-based electronic commerce Greet customers and discuss type, quality and quantity of merchandise or services sought for purchase. Maintain sales records for inventory control Prepare merchandise for purchase. Prepare sales invoice and accept cash, cheque, credit card or automatic debit payment

Physically demanding Standing for extended periods Work Term: Permanent Work Language: English Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week RESPONSIBILITIES:

Maintain cleanliness of store and store grounds during any given day; include store cleaning. Ensure product information is visible to customers. Maintain proper stock levels in store during slow days to allow for effective display placement; ensure display levels are maintained at all times Maintain regular store cleaning schedule (e.g., vacuuming, sweeping) as required; include store cleaning at least Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday (with exception for major holidays)Assist with general merchandising tasks such as building displays Must be able to lift 50 pounds without assistance.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00-$19.00 per hour
