Raven Transfers is an Ottawa based Funeral Transfer Service, looking to add a licensed Funeral Director or Transfer Service Sales Representative to the team. We are seeking mature, compassionate individuals who possess the following skills and abilities. Experience with transfers in the Ottawa region is preferred but not required.

Raven Transfers is responsible for the safe and appropriate transportation of individuals from the place of death to a funeral establishment, hospital or cremation facility, along with airports and religious centers.

Profile of a successful candidate:

Professional and respectful demeanor Capacity to work efficiently under pressure Sense of responsibility, accountability, and the self-motivation to work independently Clear communication skills and capacity to work well within a team Previous administrative or management experience Valid Funeral Director or TSSR License Active and physically fit with the ability to lift 75-100 lbs No criminal record Valid driver's license
Job details:

Transporting human remains from place of death (i.e. hospital, private residence, long-term care facility, scene of accident) to a funeral establishment, hospital or cremation facility. Answering phones, scheduling staff, minor administrative duties. Driving, washing and maintaining transfer vehicles and stock. Providing support to funeral homes when necessary (i.e. funeral assistance, driving, pallbearing, etc) Working up to 40 hours/week with combination of day, evening, weekend and on-call shifts Additional duties for licensed funeral director, to be discussed.
