We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Fundraising and Grant Specialist to join The Bridg Group of Companies. This dual-role position focuses on raising funds from public and private sectors and assisting the Bridg Group in securing grants, loans, and extended credit. This full-time role offers significant opportunities for career growth within our rapidly expanding organization.

Major Responsibilities


Fundraising: Raising funds for a number of startups and charitable foundation


Develop and implement fundraising strategies to secure funds from public and private sectors.


Collaborate with companies, individuals, and community partners to raise funds for various initiatives.


Engage with all levels of government (federal, provincial, and municipal) to secure grants and funding for charitable projects.


Organize and manage fundraising events, campaigns, and activities.


Cultivate relationships with potential donors and stakeholders to encourage ongoing support.


Prepare and present proposals, reports, and presentations to potential funders and partners.


Maintain accurate records of fundraising activities, donations, and donor information.


Ensure compliance with all fundraising regulations and ethical standards.


Grant and Loan Assistance: Apply for grants and loans to raise additional funds.


Identify and research available grants, loans, and credit services for small business owners.


Assist small business owners in preparing and submitting grant applications and loan proposals.


Provide guidance on the requirements and processes for securing grants, loans, and extended credit.


Liaise with creditors, grant providers, and financial institutions to facilitate funding for small businesses.


Develop and maintain relationships with key contacts in the grant and loan sectors.


Monitor and track the status of grant applications and loan proposals.


Provide ongoing support and advice to small business owners throughout the funding process.


Qualifications and Requirements


Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Nonprofit Management, or a related field.


Minimum 5+ years of experience in fundraising, grant writing, or financial services.


Proven track record of successful fundraising campaigns and securing grants/loans.


Strong understanding of government funding processes at all levels (federal, provincial, municipal).


Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.


Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.


High level of professionalism, discretion, and ability to handle sensitive information.


Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.


Familiarity with credit services, loan products, and financial regulations.


Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.


Excellent technology skills in using all Microsoft Suite Software's including, MS Word, MS PowerPoint and MS Excel, Outlook, Google Chrome, etc.


Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to express ideas and procedures clearly and concisely; ability to work with highly sensitive information


Advanced Excel skills including VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, sums, drop-downs, PivotTables, Macros, etc.


Ability to type a minimum of 50 WPM.


Resides in close proximity to the office in Vaughan (preferred)


Must own a vehicle with full access at all times.


Mandatory attendance at company corporate events.


Work Schedule


Monday - Friday: 8:00AM - 4:30PM


Saturday (as required): 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM with Friday's Off in lieu


Work Remotely: No


Compensation Range: CA$50K - CA$60K
