EmpowHERto partners with black and Latina girls and young women from underserved communities between 14-21, empowering them with the necessary tools to thrive and effect positive systemic change.
We are seeking a passionate and results-driven fundraising coordinator to support our fundraising efforts. This role will focus on developing, implementing, and managing fundraising initiatives to secure financial support for EmpowHERto's programs. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, creative, and proactive in engaging donors, sponsors, and community partners.
Primary Responsibilities:
Assist in developing and executing fundraising plans, including donor campaigns, sponsorship outreach, and grant applications.
Build and maintain relationships with individual donors, corporate sponsors, and grant-making organizations.
Organize fundraising events, including galas, charity drives, and community initiatives, to increase donor engagement.
Research funding opportunities, prepare grant applications, and track reporting requirements for awarded grants.
Develop strategic partnerships with businesses, community organizations, and foundations to secure sponsorships and in-kind donations.
Collaborate with the marketing team to create fundraising materials, social media campaigns, and donor appreciation content.
Track fundraising progress, donor contributions, and campaign effectiveness using donor management tools and CRM software.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Experience in fundraising, grant writing, donor relations, or nonprofit development.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
Ability to plan and execute events and fundraising campaigns.
Experience with CRM software and donor management tools is an asset.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in problem-solving.
