What you'll do:


The Sales Representative will be responsible for developing and maintaining a strong client base within an assigned geographical area. This role focuses on cultivating long-term relationships with customers, producers, clients, suppliers, and other company representatives to drive business growth. The Sales Representative will be responsible for promoting and marketing agri-products and grain delivery services, providing expert agronomic advice, and supporting clients in making informed decisions for their farming operations. Analyzes current and future agricultural trends and service needs in conjunction with the sales, marketing and operations teams to develop and implement strategies and actions to create opportunities. Executes sales programs in order to meet and/or exceed budgeted Agri-products sales, goals and margins and strives to exceed operational and financial targets.

Who you are:


You are looking for a career in Agriculture and Retail:


Grade 12 Diploma or Degree in Agriculture or Business 3 - 5 years proven sales experience in agriculture products and/or equipment, consultative selling, identifying customer needs and recommending appropriate products and solutions.. Previous experience in farming or agricultural operations, with a strong understanding of farm equipment, fertilizers, pesticides, and other agricultural products. Co-operative retail experience is an asset. P. Ag, Agriculture Sales or Certified Crop Advisor Designations would be an asset. Effective communication, negotiation, and sales skills. Strong customer service skills with a focus on providing ongoing support after the sale, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships Able to work independently as a member of a highly motivated team. Valid Driver's License. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Willingness and ability to travel to meet with customers on-site, often in rural or remote locations. Will be required at times to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
