Job Description

Neighbourly Pharmacy is looking for a Full-Time Registered Pharmacy Technician to join our team across all four Janzen's Pharmacy locations in Thunder Bay, Ontario.

Patient Focused Care Responsibilities:

Receive and accurately transcribe verbal prescriptions from healthcare providers Ensure patient safety through accurate and high-quality preparation and release of medications Transfer prescriptions to and receive prescriptions from other pharmacies Process prescriptions by entering orders, counting, measuring, compounding, and packaging medications Methadone dosing preparation Perform final checks on prepared prescriptions for accuracy and safety Maintain accurate and confidential patient records, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards Oversee Pharmacy Assistants to ensure efficient and safe prescription filling

Qualifications:

Licensed and in good standing with Ontario College of Pharmacists Injection certification is required Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Self-motivated and able to work independently Collaborative mindset with the ability to thrive in a team environment
