Northern Gateway Public Schools invites applications for a Full-time (1.0 FTE) Education Assistant at Mayerthorpe Jr/Sr High School
Successful candidate responsibilities:
Provide support to our teaching staff in a variety of subjects
Preference will be given to candidates who:
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with children, parents and staff Work collaboratively and co-operatively with teachers and other educational assistants in the classroom/school Understand and carry out oral and written direction Work independently with minimal instruction Demonstrate effective organizational and communication skills Respect confidentiality Practice professionalism with all MHS School students, staff, administration, parents and public Are aware of NGPS policies and administrative procedures Have an understanding of the teaching/learning process Education Assistant Certificate is desirable Have strong interpersonal skills and patience Enjoys working in a team environment

31.25 hours per week--5 days/6.25 hours per dayWage Rate:
$20.44/hour - $29.65/hour depending on qualifications and experienceApplication Process:
