We have many years of experience in the industry with expertise in compounding, natural remedies, travel medicine, respiratory disease management, and diabetes management. We have worked very closely with patients and other healthcare professionals in our communities to foster strong personal relationships and community ties.

The Job

We are looking for a motivated candidate with great interpersonal skills and strong clinical expertise. The right candidate must have or be willing to get their

APA designation

and

injection administration

authorization. Experience in

travel medicine

is a key part of our practice, and having the CTH designation or the willingness to obtain the designation at the next available writing would be preferred. Additional designations in respiratory care, diabetes care, etc. is considered a key asset. The candidate will work collaboratively as part of the pharmacy team to manage patient care.

Responsibilities

Clinical activities - Candidate will meet with patients that are scheduled for travel consults, medication reviews, etc to provide clinical care. They will also interact with patients getting prescriptions to ensure appropriate therapy and assess patient interventions.

Community engagement - Candidate will engage with various stakeholders to grow clinical practice.

Support dispensary activities - Work as part of the pharmacy team to support staff in managing patient care in the dispensary.

A strong candidate will have:

- 2 years of experience as a pharmacist and be in good standing with ACP

- Advanced Prescribing and Injection Administration authorization

- Certified clinical designation in travel medicine, diabetes, respiratory care; or willingness to obtain designation.

- Excellent customer service skills and strong community involvement

- Strong problem solving and conflict resolution skills

- Strong verbal and written communication skills

- Experience with Kroll digital workflow, PrescribeIT, and Netcare RTI

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55.00-$59.00 per hour
