Job Summary

Vin Room West/Mission is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in providing exceptional dining experiences to our guests. As a Server, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality service, ensuring customer satisfaction, and contributing to a positive atmosphere within our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, providing them with menus and information about daily specials. Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all dietary restrictions and preferences are noted. Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining a friendly demeanor. Assist in food preparation and handling as needed, ensuring adherence to safety and hygiene standards. Manage cash transactions, including processing payments and handling cash accurately. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any special requests or modifications. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, utensils, and overall ambiance. Provide assistance to guests throughout their dining experience, addressing any concerns or requests promptly.

Experience

Previous experience in the food industry or hospitality is preferred Wine knowledge is an asset Familiarity with food handling practices and food service operations is advantageous. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently while maintaining quality service. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on helping guests have an enjoyable experience. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated during busy shifts.
