Overview:

Join Paladin Security, Canada's top security provider, as a Full-Time Security Guard at North York General Hospital. This vital role helps protect patients, staff, and visitors while maintaining a safe and welcoming healthcare environment. The ideal candidate is professional, observant, and confident in handling dynamic situations with empathy and respect.

Responsibilities:

Conduct regular patrols across hospital grounds, including entrances, parking areas, and wards. Monitor CCTV and alarm systems to ensure facility safety and policy compliance. Control access to restricted areas and verify identification as needed. Respond promptly to incidents and emergencies with professionalism and sound judgment. Assist patients, staff, and visitors courteously while maintaining situational awareness. De-escalate conflicts using non-violent crisis intervention techniques. Complete detailed and accurate incident reports following Paladin protocols. Collaborate with hospital personnel, first responders, and law enforcement as required.

Requirements:

Valid Ontario Security Guard License Valid First Aid & CPR - Level C (WSIB-approved provider) Proof of COVID-19 vaccination (2 doses) Immunization records for Mumps, Measles, Rubella, Varicella, and 2-step TB skin test Valid G Class Driver's License Fluent in English (oral and written) Availability for Continental Rotating Schedule (days/nights/weekends)

Nice to Have:

Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field
