Summary

We are looking for a

Sales Associate

to join our dynamic team at Surplus Furniture and Mattress Warehouse. The successful candidate will work in both of our Winnipeg stores. In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering excellent customer service and driving sales in our store. Your contributions will help us maintain our reputation as a top retailer in the industry.

Responsibilities

Assist customers in selecting and purchasing furniture and mattresses that meet their needs. Provide product demonstrations and share knowledge about features and benefits. Process transactions accurately using the POS system and handle cash responsibly. Maintain a clean and organized sales floor to enhance the shopping experience. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and improve customer satisfaction. Manage time effectively to ensure all customer inquiries are addressed promptly.

Requirements

Proven experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Ability to communicate effectively with customers, both verbally and in writing. Familiarity with POS systems and basic cashiering duties is an asset. Multilingual or bilingual capabilities are a plus.

Pay: $45,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
