We are seeking a full-time nanny--live-in or live-out--to support our household and provide care for our 9-month-old child.

$21-$26 per hour (negotiable based on experience)

Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Babysitter/Nanny to provide exceptional childcare for our family. The ideal candidate will have a nurturing disposition and be skilled in engaging with children of various ages, from infants to toddlers. Responsibilities

Supervise and engage with children in age-appropriate activities, including playtime, educational games, and outdoor activities. Prepare nutritious meals and snacks while accommodating any dietary restrictions or preferences. Maintain cleanliness in the home by tidying up after activities, cleaning play areas, and assisting with laundry as needed. Provide care for infants and toddlers, including diaper changes, feeding, and nap time routines. Support children with disabilities by adapting activities to meet their individual needs. Foster a positive learning environment through teaching basic skills such as numbers, letters, and social interactions. Communicate effectively with parents regarding daily activities, milestones, and any concerns that may arise.

Qualifications

Proven experience in childcare or nannying roles is essential; experience with infants and toddlers is highly desirable. Knowledge of first aid and CPR is preferred to ensure the safety of the children. Strong cooking skills for meal preparation that promotes healthy eating habits. Experience working with individuals with disabilities is a plus. Ability to maintain a clean and organized environment while managing multiple tasks effectively. A background in preschool education or daycare settings is beneficial for engaging children in learning activities. Excellent communication skills to interact positively with both children and parents.
