Overview

We are seeking a caring and responsible Babysitter/Nanny to provide attentive childcare for children of various ages. The ideal candidate will have a passion for nurturing, teaching, and ensuring the safety and well-being of children. This role involves engaging children in age-appropriate activities, preparing meals, and maintaining a clean and safe environment. Experience with children, preschool, toddler, and infant care is highly valued. Responsibilities

Provide attentive supervision and care for children, ensuring their safety at all times Prepare nutritious meals and snacks tailored to children's dietary needs Engage children in educational and recreational activities suitable for their age groups Assist with daily routines such as bathing, dressing, and nap times Maintain a clean and organized environment, including light housekeeping related to childcare Administer basic first aid when necessary and handle minor injuries appropriately Support children with special needs or disabilities as required Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's progress, routines, and any concerns Foster a positive, nurturing atmosphere that encourages learning and development

Requirements

Prior experience with childcare, babysitting, nannying, or daycare settings Knowledge of child development stages for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school-aged children Certification or training in first aid and CPR is preferred Ability to prepare meals and assist with feeding young children Compassionate attitude with excellent patience and communication skills Experience working with children with disabilities is a plus Ability to handle caregiving responsibilities including diapering, bathing, and light cleaning related to childcare Reliable transportation and the ability to work flexible hours as needed A background in teaching or experience with early childhood education is desirable
