Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in preparing delicious meals that meet our restaurant's standards while ensuring a clean and organized kitchen environment.

Duties

Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and restaurant standards. Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping, marinating, and seasoning. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including workstations and storage areas. Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the highest standards of hygiene and sanitation. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service. Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed. Participate in daily kitchen operations, including setting up and breaking down workstations.

Skills

Proven experience as a cook in a fast-paced food service environment. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork in the kitchen. Familiarity with various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures. A passion for meal preparation and creativity in presenting dishes. Ability to adapt to changing menus and dietary restrictions.

Pay: $17.20-$20.20 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week
