Responsible for the day-to-day smooth operation of the Housekeeping Department and assisting the Executive Housekeeper as required
Inspect assigned areas in order to provide feedback to management and employees on the cleanliness and maintenance of those areas against standards
Produce schedules for employees in accordance with staffing guides/productivity requirements.
Review and adjust staffing daily to ensure optimum staffing levels. Review assignments of employees and make adjustments as required
Conduct daily pre shifts and room assignments
Communicate throughout the day with Front Office, Housekeeping Office and other departments to ensure complete guest satisfaction
Monitor consumption and order replacement of guest and cleaning supplies
Manage administrative functions as required
Any other duties as assigned by the Executive Housekeeper
Must speak, read and write in the primary language used in the workplace - English
Must have prior Hotel Housekeeping Supervisory experience
Knowledge of the Opera PMS system is preferred
