We are seeking a dedicated and customer-oriented Front Desk Clerk/Night Auditor to join our team. This role is essential in providing exceptional guest services and ensuring smooth operations during the night shift. Responsibilities
Greet and welcome guests upon arrival, providing a warm and friendly atmosphere.
Manage check-in and check-out processes efficiently while ensuring accuracy in guest billing.
Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism, offering solutions to enhance their stay.
Operate multi-line phone systems to manage incoming calls and assist guests promptly.
Maintain accurate records of room availability and reservations using hotel management software.
Conduct nightly audits of financial transactions, ensuring all accounts are balanced at the end of each shift.
Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest satisfaction and address any issues promptly.
Provide information about local attractions, dining options, and hotel amenities to enhance the guest experience.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a front desk or guest services role within the hospitality industry is preferred.
Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable for effective communication with diverse guests.
Strong customer service skills with a focus on creating positive experiences for guests.
Proficient in phone etiquette, with the ability to manage multiple calls professionally.
Familiarity with multi-line phone systems and hotel management software is an advantage.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all tasks performed.
