Position Summary



It is an exciting time at Oulton College, and we are currently seeking applicants for Full-time faculty positions in our BScN Program. Your primary responsibility will include developing and delivering engaging and evidence-based curriculum content, facilitating classroom and clinical learning experiences (if applicable), and evaluating student performance. Key Accountabilities



Provide instruction to students enrolled in BScN. Facilitate the development, implementation, revision, and maintenance of curriculum under the direction of the Director of Nursing. Plan and deliver content and learning activities that reflect the values, beliefs, needs, and contributions of a culturally diverse community. Utilize LMS for in person, online, and blended course delivery. Manage the classroom/lab/activities to ensure an optimal learning environment using an outcome-based approach. Work cooperatively with program coordinators and colleagues in an interdependent "team" environment.

Education & Experience



The ideal candidate must hold:



Masters degree. Relevant successful post-secondary teaching experience in applying the theories, practices and principles of adult education in the classroom/laboratory setting is an asset. Ability to arrange, maintain and evaluate resources. Demonstrated competence and recent experience in the use of the internet, e-mail, MS Office Suite software, D2L and ability to learn and adapt to changing technology. Demonstrates valuing diversity. Demonstrates subject matter expertise Experience with Microsoft suite is an asset
