Key Responsibilities:
Treatment Room Preparation:
Prepare treatment rooms and accommodate patients promptly to ensure efficient workflow.
Instrument Handling:
Efficiently pass instruments and demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of dental procedures.
Sterilization:
Pack and sterilize instruments following strict infection control protocols.
Supply Management:
Organize and maintain dental supplies, ensuring the clinic is well-stocked and orderly.
IPAC Standards:
Practice exceptional Infection Prevention and Control (IPAC) standards consistently.
Patient Charting:
Accurately chart patient information using computer software.
Clinical Assistance:
Provide assistance to clinicians during dental procedures as needed.
Multitasking:
Manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Supply Ordering:
Order supplies and manage inventory to ensure the clinic runs smoothly.
Patient Comfort:
Attend to patient comforts and needs in the office, creating a welcoming environment.
Positive Attitude:
Maintain a positive attitude at all times, acting as a leader and role model for the team.
Team Collaboration:
Foster a close relationship with the clinic director, assistants, and practice owner to ensure seamless operations.
Qualifications:
Certified Dental Assistant Level II certification (LEVEL II RDA, HARP CERTIFIED REQUIRED)
Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in a dental assisting role
Desire to learn and improve in digital dentistry
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Fluent in English; proficiency in French is a significant asset
Ability to work efficiently in a high-paced environment
A true team player with a knack for critical thinking and problem-solving
Ability to work under stressful situations, handling more than one task at a time
Have strong leadership qualities to handle any situation that may rise in matters of patient care, so patients are satisfied and taken care of.
Have an outgoing and friendly personality
Work Schedule:
Monday and Wednesday: 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM;
Tuesday and Wednesday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM;
Friday: 8:30 AM - 3:00 PM.
