Summary

We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team in Picton. This role is vital in supporting our dental professionals and ensuring a smooth workflow within the office. The ideal candidate will contribute to our mission of delivering high-quality dental care.

Responsibilities

Assist dentists during procedures by preparing instruments and materials.

Manage patient records and maintain accurate documentation. Provide excellent patient care by addressing their needs and concerns. Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care. Schedule appointments and manage the front desk as needed. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dental office. Collaborate with team members to enhance patient experience.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or similar role.

Proficiency in AbelDent is prefered Strong knowledge of orthodontics, medical terminology, and dental assisting practices. Excellent communication skills and patient-focused attitude. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Certification in Dental Assisting is an asset.
