Position: Pass Card Administrator

Site: Bay Adelaide Centre

City: 333 Bay Street, Toronto

Status: Full-Time

Hours: Monday to Friday (0800-1600 hours)

Pay Rate: $21.25

Site Description: Bay Adelaide West opened its doors in June 2009. The Bay Adelaide Centre complex encompasses a whole city block and consists of the newly constructed East Tower, 1/2 acre urban plaza. Connected to the PATH (Toronto 27KM underground walkway) with 51 floors and 1,100 underground parking and on site management and 24/7 building access and security.
Position Overview

The Pass card Administrator core functions are to program pass cards and look after the operations of the access control system and all its components at the property. This includes the Access Control System, its integration with Deloitte and the interoperability with the CCTV Genetec system, duress alarms and all other Ccure 9000 alarms.
Major Responsibilities

  • Program access cards on
  • Collect photos for pass card creation, file and dispose of same in accordance to site
  • Keep, maintain and update Tenant Authorization and contact
  • Perform Access Control System audits for individual tenants and property management as required.
  • Troubleshoot issues with the access control system
  • Be able to do day-to-day basic programming of the Access Control System.
  • Train and assign new users when required (SOC Operators) on programming of access cards and basic operation of the Ccure 9000 system.
  • Ensure all day-to-day use equipment is operational (access control system computer, pass card printer, picture camera, ).
  • Keep records, track and maintain inventory levels of necessary supplies for the pass card printing.
  • Liaison with service providers to assist with issues, breakdown and serious problems related to access control system.
  • Request service when required for the Ccure 9000 system.
  • Provide direct oversight of service providers of the access control system while in attendance for service
  • Manage and provide direction to service providers of access control system in accordance to property and management
  • Communicate with the Senior Security Individuals in charge, Property Management, and/or other stakeholders when appropriate when serious/critical issues arise related to the access control system.
  • Provide guidance and recommendations on the access control system needs to the security manager.
  • Implement and run a maintenance plan for access control system components.
  • Ensure that the maintenance plans are done in accordance to property needs by maintaining records on same and ensuring service providers are completing desired work in timely manner and to desired standard of
  • Provide excellent customer service to all tenants and property management by rapidly responding to questions and/or requests, pleasant and friendly interaction and prompt resolution (to the best of their ability) to complaints and/or system
Requirements

Education & Experience
1. Demonstrated knowledge and ability to interact with and basic operation of the Ccure 9000 system.
2. Security industry experience in a high-end large office complex environment. 1-3 years required; 3-5 years
3. Customer service experience
4. Direct experience with programming access card, operating, maintaining and/or programming the Ccure 9000 system.
5. Post-secondary diploma and/or degree in electronic and/or IT and/or security fields preferred. Skills & Knowledge
6. Excellent personal computing skills to include all office related products, email and familiarity with specialized electronic security systems
7. Excellent organizational and administrative skills with an emphasis on multi-tasking.
8. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to maintain professional demeanor under potentially stressful
9. Must be self-motivated and consistently show
10. Must have an energetic and positive personality. Working Conditions
11. Occasionally required to work if necessary, various shifts to include occasional evening and/or weekends.
12. Could be exposed to hazardous situations and conditions during major property incidents or while dealing with crisis
