Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in various environments, including commercial spaces. This role requires a proactive approach to cleaning tasks, ensuring that all areas are well-maintained and presentable. The Cleaner will work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating excellent time management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Perform general cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces. Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various cleaning tasks. Conduct facilities maintenance tasks as needed to ensure the upkeep of the premises. Manage time efficiently to complete assigned cleaning tasks within designated timeframes. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any inquiries or concerns from clients or staff. Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages or needs for replenishment. Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Assist with heavy lifting when necessary, including moving furniture or equipment during cleaning processes.

Requirements

Previous custodial experience is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided. Familiarity with commercial cleaning practices and techniques is an advantage. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members. Ability to manage time effectively, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines. Physical capability to perform heavy lifting as required during cleaning operations. A proactive attitude towards maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in all areas. Willingness to learn new skills related to facilities maintenance and cleaning techniques.
