Mrs P's Bakery is well known for it's delicious famous oat cakes and homestyle baking goods. We believe team work needs to be a pillar at the base of each successful day. We are here to support each other by working hard, staying motivated and helping when we can. We are looking for hard working individuals to join our team for full time baker shifts. Hiring positions must be reliable and able to multitask. A successful candidate will enjoy working in a busy environment and be able to multitask effectively while still meeting strict quality standards.

Responsibilities:

Ability to work under strict deadlines and meet client high expectations Utilizing adequate quantities and rotating products to keep spoilage/waste to a minimum. Cleaning, dismantling, and storing all baking equipment, including: ovens, mixers, proofer, floors, freezer, and refrigerators. Ability to use hands and appliances, and lift heavy items ( 50 lbs ) for prolonged amounts of time in a hot, hectic atmosphere Strong communication skills, ability to manage time and resources and general planning. Close attention to the details, especially when inspecting materials and products for quality. Must be willing to move around constantly, day and night as well as work additional shifts and holidays Knowledge of general baking principles and understanding of a wide variety of recipes Excellent knowledge of safety, health rules, and quality controls
