You will be responsible for delivering legendary service to make all guests of our Co-op feel "at home here" through:
Baking - follow production schedules and recipes for breads, buns and prepared pastries, measuring/mixing ingredients, shaping dough
Packaging, slicing, panning and merchandising bakery products
General Bakery duties - housekeeping, opening, closing
Who you are:
You are interested in a career in baking and:
You have 2-3 years commercial baking experience
You have a Food Safe Certificate (willing to train)
Knowledge of the safe operation of bakery production equipment
Must be able to multitask in a very fast paced environment and have the ability to work independently with a strong sense of urgency
You're honest and trustworthy, are results-oriented and strive to be the best in what you do.
You are willing to work all shifts scheduled including days, evenings, holidays and weekends
You believe in building relationships and collaborating to deliver solutions that matter most, and you recognize the value that different perspectives bring to meet shared objectives.
You are physically able to do heavy lifting of 60 lbs, climb ladders and kneel
