Position Overview:

We are seeking

experienced Automotive Mechanics

to perform maintenance, repair, and servicing of aviation ground support equipment, including motorized and non-motorized units. The role involves diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, carrying out preventive maintenance programs, and ensuring all equipment operates safely and efficiently to support daily airport operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on a wide range of GSE units (diesel, gas, and electric). Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and minimize downtime. Diagnose and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems. Maintain accurate service records and documentation in accordance with company and regulatory standards. Work collaboratively with the maintenance team to ensure all safety and quality standards are met. Participate in ongoing training to stay current with new technologies and maintenance practices.

Additional Skills Desired:

Experience in

welding, metal fabrication, or automotive body work

will be considered a strong asset. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and electrical schematics. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.

Qualifications:

Licensed Automotive or Heavy-Duty Mechanic (Journeyman or Apprentice). Minimum 2 years of relevant mechanical experience (GSE or automotive industry preferred). Valid driver's license with clean driving record. Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, or on-call as required.
